🌸The consequences and the causes of water pollution🌸

The consequences and causes of water  pollution

Water pollution is a big problem to me and can cause a lot of damage. Water pollution is bad in many other ways but I think the main thing it does is kill our sealife like  fish, crabs, turtles and many more.

What Water pollution is doing to our ocean

Water pollution is killing all of our sea life and food from the ocean. It is very important and not being able to swim or surf in the ocean is also a big problem.

What water pollution does to humans

Swimming is an everyday thing for people. It's like when you go for a shower or swim in a pool or at the ocean. Imagine if you couldn't do any of that anymore because of water pollution? Did you know that over 75 million people swim in the ocean every day around the world and imagine 75 million people not being able to swim, but the main thing is

if the water is polluted how will we humans be able to survive without seafood.

But did you know that 6 billion tons/pounds of garbage but mainly plastic ends up in the ocean every year and about two million tons of human waste are exposed daily to water. Also freshwater on earth is only 2.5% of total water when 70% of the earth's surface is covered by water.

Ways to stop water pollution

If you want to stop water pollution then the best thing to do is not pour fat from cooking or any type of fat, oil or grease down the sink and trust me I've had experience and it wasn't very nice.

In conclusion now you can see why water pollution causes problems and other consequences.

💮Why flooding causes destruction💮

  ~Why flooding causes destruction~

Flooding is causing lots of destruction. Floods are ruining people's houses and some houses could even let go of the bottom of the ground and float away, which will take quite a bit of time and money to build again and especially when people can barely afford it.

But I think the serious thing is if water reaches up to houses and water gets through small creeks and floods your whole house with water which can also take lots of time to take out.

Flooding is causing quite a bit of trouble for farmers in Whangarei and Auckland most of the farms were flooded with lots of water, but the thing is that it could take up to a few months to get all of the water out.

But the main thing is that it is very hard to keep your animals alive when a flood is happening.

Some could die because they can't swim and others are caught in the water which makes it very hard for some farmers with stock and the reason why flooding is happening is because of global warming.

An interesting fact did you know that floods cause more than $40 billion in damage worldwide annually but in the U.S losses average to 8 billion dollars a year, and the death totals are up to 100 people a year.  But in China's Yellow River Valley some of the worst floods have killed millions of people.

If you were a farmer it would be best if you get all of your animals and bring them to a safe place where the water can't reach the animals and you.

Also would be very good to go to a high surface away from the water/floods so that floods can not reach you or your animals nor your house if you can move it away from any water places.

I think flooding is a serious problem and if flooding doesn't

stop or we can't find a solution we might be in serious trouble.

~Trench Warfare~

~Trench Warfare~

What is Trench warfare?
Trench warfare is a type of land warfare using
occupied fighting lines largely comprising
military trenches, it was also used to protect
other soldiers from gasses and more.  Of course,
living in the trenches was not as easy as you
thought.

In the trenches it was muddy and wet whenever
the soldiers were in the trenches, their boots and
socks were almost always wet. This caused
trench foot which is when the feet are wet for
long periods of time. It can be pretty painful,
but it can be prevented and treated but if not
treated your toes would fall off.

Trench rats.
Many troops were awakened by rats crawling
across their faces so they had cats sleep by them
to prevent rats crawling on their faces.  It has
been said that trench rats would always go into
the kitchen making holes through tins making a
lot of noise in the middle of the night and if they
are still hungry and can't find food they would
eat the toes of soldiers that are falling off.

Just imagine being in the trenches and having
rats on your face in the middle of the night and
your toes falling off.

The difference between WW1 and WW2

The difference between WW1 and WW2

The difference between WW1 and WW2 both are very different
so here a few paragraphs about WW1 and WW2.

Well in WW1 was fought between the trenches and used machine
guns and poisonous gas, with a total of 20 million deaths and 21
million wounds World War began in July 1914 – 11 November
1918 after someone assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
and lasted until 1918.

But in WW2 was fought using modern artillery and machines
utilizing more airplanes, ships, tanks, and submarines.  About
85 million people died in WW2. WW2 was the deadliest military
conflict in history. On September 1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland
from the west two days later, France and Britain declared war
on Germany, beginning WW2.

Lots of people risked their lives in both WW1 and WW2, did you
know that plastic surgery was invented because of WW1 and also
12 million letters were delivered to the frontline every week.

World war 1 and 2 are completely opposites more than 1 million
people died with more people died in wW2.
Both WW1 and WW2 are very different from each other, but I
hope these few paragraphs explain the difference between WW1
and WW2.

The importance of the Treaty of Waitangi

The Treaty is very important because it represents the past, for over five hundred years Maori had Aotearoa to themselves, until one day in 1769 captain cook arrived in Aotearoa.

In the 1790´s pakeha has arrived to hunt down seals and whales then later Missionaries from England then later France followed also traders arrived to load all their ships with timber and flax to sell overseas, by the 1830´s seven hundred pakeha most of them British were living in Aotearoa what they called New Zealand.

At the time Britain owned a large amount and was a power empire. They decided that New Zealand should become a part of that empire.

Starting Technology

Today for Technology I had Mr. Russel, my subject was ICT.
First Mr. Russel started telling us the rules about being cyber smart and trying your best in everything on the computers, then we got into our accounts even tho we don't go to intermediate we still have accounts, after we got into our accounts Mr.Russel and the students that were in there started doing some level 1 thing all the way to level 4. After he got us on 3D printing. He showed us one of his videos on how to make the shape of the thing we were making (which I don't know what it is called),
It was my first time and I loved it.
